The SAT and ACT Tests
Most 4-year universities (UC, CSU, and Private) require students take either the SAT or ACT test for admission. These tests are a culmination of material you have learned in high school.

College Board offers extensive resources for studying for the SAT, including sample questions and study tips. Online registration for the SAT happens on College Board as well. College Board has partnered with Khan Academy to provide Personalized SAT test preparation, and entire full-length practice tests for FREE. We recommend using this FREE resource when preparing for the SAT.
